Stopped for dinner on our way across the state. Chose burgers our server recommended. The brown sugar burger is sweet. The garlic burger was opposite. We preferred the garlic burger but everything was served quickly. Perfectly cooked burgers. Tasted very fresh. Lots of young employees providing great service quickly. Our server was fantastic!

Meaty wings. Plenty of room to enjoy a dinner without being on top of anyone else. The food is good and definitely recommend the Cuban. Wings are meaty. Cheese cubes are large and gooey. All kinds of tv’s for all the viewings and taps on taps of beer options; Local and otherwise. Really Friendly service too!

Visit here often. Great staff, great food, great beer! Update from May 2024: still great. Usually eat at the bar. Quick, friendly service!! Korean barbeque boneless wings were a little spicy for me but really good. I love the corn ribs and the cauliflower wings!!

Sarah, our server, was a gem! Management is lucky to have her. Every person who was involved in our experience here was great. We tried the avocado fries app and they were so good. Other places need to follow suit; super yummy appetizer! We had the Sourdough Burger (again, a smashing success) and the Swicy Burger (excellent combo of sweet and spice), they did not disappoint. We aren't from this area and we were trying to decide on a place to eat, I'm so glad we chose Boulder. Mason City is fortunate to have you!

Overall a great experience. Food was good quality. Service was timely. And atmosphere was as you'd expect for a sit down burger joint. Definitely worth a trip there for a good burger when you have a hankering for one!

Very good burger, and potatoes were really good. Like the crisp, and glad I ordered regular seasoned vs. flavored. I docked the service because we walked into a bar, seated ourselves(didn't have any other indication). After watching people cleaning tables all around us, saying nothing. I got up to ask for a menu, and the response was, "That section is closed, and you sat yourself." We were seated in another area and still had to wait quite a time. I was too tired to look for another place. The service did improve. The food was good, but that left a bitter after taste.

Food was delicious (fish tacos and Southwest salad). Really good fish tacos. Attentive service. Wait time about perfect. I was most impressed because the waitress refilled my ice tea and I didn't even ask! This may seem like a small thing but I rarely have a waitress refill tea. They will refill my husband's soda several times over and ignore me. That alone would bring me back. Sadly we were just passing through but if we see a Boulder Tap House again somewhere, we'll stop.

I came here with friends and we were helped right away, the waitress was very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The jalapeno egg rolls were AMAZING as were the fries and onion rings. We all enjoyed our food a lot, we'll definitely return at some point.
